Labour members in Hayes Town ward have now selected their candidates for the upcoming Hillingdon Council elections which take place on May 5th 2022.
Members have selected: Peter Curling, Janet Gardner, and Robin Sansarpuri.
Peter Curling
Peter is the Leader of the Labour Group, and represented the now-abolished Townfield ward. Peter works at Brunel University and in his spare time he hosts a show on Hillingdon Hospital Radio, where you can hear him every Thursday night from 10pm.
Janet Gardner
Janet is the Labour Group’s Equalities Officer. If elected in May, Janet will become the Labour Group’s longest serving Councillor. A fierce champion of tackling domestic violence, Janet has a strong record of supporting those in difficult and desperate situations. Janet is a regular contributor in Council meetings, and currently represents Botwell ward which will be abolished at the May local elections.
Raju Sansarpuri
Raju (also known as Robin) has been a Councillor for the now-abolished Townfield ward, and brings a wealth of experience to the role. Robin works for Royal Mail, and has contributed to debates in Council over the years, including on Black History Month and the local environment.
