After countless enquiries to the Council, dozens of roads around Hayes wards are now on the Council’s agenda to be resurfaced thanks to the efforts of the Hillingdon Labour Group.
The Council have announced that they are resurfacing a range of roads around the wards, many of which that have been in poor condition for some time.
Works begin on some roads immediately, with planned works carrying on right into spring of next year. There are also a number of pavements that will be resurfaced.
Speaking on behalf of the Labour Group, Deputy Leader Councillor Peter Money said:
“Our Councillors work hard to raise the concerns of local residents, and it is fantastic to see that their hard work is paying off.“I know that a high number of requests for pavement and road resurfacing have gone into the Council from Labour Councillors, and finally it seems that we are getting somewhere”
